Gloria Anne White

Gloria Anne White, 64, of Avenue, MD died on December 1, 2004 in the St. Mary’s Nursing Center in Leonardtown, MD. Born January 2, 1940 in Avenue, MD she was the daughter of the late Agnes Gertrude Arnold and Robert Parran Graves. She is survived by her son, Roger White and his wife, Gail and one grandchild, Michelle White, all of Abell, MD. She is also survived by her siblings, Joseph M. Graves of Avenue, MD; Francis William Graves of Monita, VA; Mary Virginia Faunce of Avenue; and Margaret Elizabeth Greenway of Waldorf and many nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County and a graduate of Margaret Brent High School, Class of 1957. She enjoyed music, reading and watching sports. She spent the last thirteen years living in Cedar Lane Apartments in Leonardtown, MD. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and a Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM today in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Msgr. John Brady officiating. There will be a Graveside Service at Charles Memorial Gardens on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 10:00 AM. Pallbearers for Mrs. White will be Terry Faunce, Dale Faunce, TJ Faunce, Danny Graves, Gilbert Murphy and Dennis Morgan.
