Gunmen Rob 7-11
WALDORF --- On May 1 at 1:45 a.m., two men entered the
7-Eleven Citgo in the 11500 block of Berry Road in Waldorf, brandished a weapon and
demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied and the suspects fled the scene with an
undisclosed amount of money. Neither the clerk, a 38-year-old woman, nor a customer in the
store at the time, a 61-year-old man, were injured. Anyone with information about this
incident is asked to contact Det. K. Keelan at 301-609-6509.
The nearby Burchmart was robbed recently and led to the store closing after midnight.
The 7-11 on Smallwood Parkway was robbed in January and the 7-11 on Bannister
Circle was robbed so frequently that the corporation closed the store.
