Gunmen Robbed Wendys After
Eating Their Meal
WALDORF --- On July 21 at 11:09 a.m., Charles County Sheriffs officers responded to
Pinefield Wendys in the 2000 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for the armed
robbery. Investigation revealed three suspects entered the restaurant, ordered a meal and
sat in the restaurant to eat. After finishing their meal, two of the suspects brandished
handguns and demanded all employees lie on the floor. The suspects demanded money from the
manager and the manager complied. All three suspects then ran to the rear of the Pinefield
North Shopping Center. None of the employees were injured. It appears the suspects waited
until customers in the restaurant left before announcing the robbery. One suspect is
described as a black male with a medium complexion and close-cut brown hair. He is in his
late 20's, is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 230 lbs. He was wearing
sunglasses, jean shorts and a gray shirt. The second suspect is described as a black male
with a medium complexion and a thin build. He is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and is
in his early 20's. He has prescription glasses and short hair and was wearing a white
T-shirt. The third suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion and a thin
build. He is in approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, is in his early 20's, and weighs about
180 lbs. His hair was styled in short cornrows and he was wearing a black brim hat, blue
or black sweat pants, a faded black T-shirt and black tennis shoes. The suspects possibly
fled in a blue older-model passenger car. Anyone with information about this incident is
