Horticulture and Nursery Stock Auction Dates Set
Just in Time for Mother's Day Inventory Stocking
ANNAPOLIS --- The Southern Maryland Regional Farmers
Market Auction Board of Directors will conduct its third annual horticulture and nursery
stock auction on every Wednesday starting at 2:00 p.m., beginning April 28 and continuing
through mid-June 2004. The auctions will be held at the Cheltenham Warehouse, 11701
Crain Highway (Rt. 301), Cheltenham, between Rosaryville Rd. and Brandywine.
Targeted to wholesalers seeking to boost inventory for Mother's Day and the spring
landscaping rush, the auction will offer large volume sales of bedding plants, hanging
potted plants, flats of vegetable starter plants and assorted nursery stock. There will be
a different assortment of plants every week.
