How Can Any Self-Respecting Man Be a Democrat?
To the Editor:
While I fully understand your problems mainly concerning transportation
difficulties in St Marys with Gov Ehrlich, I find it a bit much to give so
much credit to O'Malley or Duncan. Duncan may be a nice guy, but he's a bit
of a dimwit, which is typical of liberals. His trip to Central America to
find out what his Montgomery gang problems are all about was a first class
case of naive ignorance or just an excuse to get a government paid trip to
some exotic place. The MS13 gang are just plain and simple well organized
criminals and thats it. Period. No more about it. Treat them as such.
O'Malley is married into a major Md political family
in this most corrupt of states, maybe we can compete with New Jersey. And
this comes simply with having a one party system. This wouldn't be so bad if
the Democrat party had both liberal and conservative wings as it did up
until the late 1960s and early 1970s when the leftist nutcases took over and
remain in control today. That O'Malley can get elected in black Baltimore as
a white man indicates something very ominous about him...read ultra liberal
and linked into a hack democrat machine.
Your description of Kathleen Kennedy Townsend as smart
and sensible was what sparked me to write this letter. Now, this woman is a
real fool. She went to work in the sugarcane fields of Fidel Castro with
other idealist sub commies during the height of the Viet Nam war, which I
can only hope opened her eyes to the realism of communism but I doubt it.
That she even considered the idea strikes me of incredible ignorance and
poor judgment. These lefties dont change with time, well maybe David
Horowitz, but I would only be convinced if those old "antiwar" protester
traitors became Republicans.
One more...Glendening, I know you didn't think much of
him and why would anyone that knew anything about him? Another democrat
that also has and will continue to cause the state problems by his
appointment of leftist women judges that we will be stuck with for years.
What it comes down to for me is simply this...as an
educated white Marine Corps veteran, I don't see how any self respecting man
in this country can be a democrat.
Their national leadership is nearly treasonous and the
home policies are socialist.
With the exception of Zell Miller and Lieberman ( only
on the war) they have nothing to offer.
I enjoy reading your paper very much, you've got
a pair and tell it like you think it is, pretty directly, whether I or
anyone else agrees or not. Keep up the good work.
