I Love America

To the Editor:

I want to be compensated by the Catholic Church for forcing my ancestors to abandon their Jewish religion. They literally
fried those who refused to convert. I want Spain to compensate me for what they did to my Aztec ancestors, read up on that, and you will understand what I am talking about.

I want the French to reimburse me for their actions when they occupied Mexico. I want Germany to compensate me for the death of my great aunt; she was a nun who was murdered in a monastery by Nazi soldiers in Spain. I want to sue the Moors, they killed my ancestors in Spain, and I want to be compensated by the African Americans who harassed me because I am Mexican, and....OK, OK! I know, I was not there, everyone involved is dead, and although I get discriminated against because I am Mexican, the truth is I love America. I'm an American.

I thank God every day that I was born north of the border. Without African Americans, without any Americans, this country would not be the great country is is. They were brought here under horrible circumstances, but they somehow survived, and now thrive. This huge human salad bowl, is like heaven compared to a lot of countries.
