James A Buckler

James A. “Jim” Buckler of St. Augustine, FL formerly of Mechanicsville, MD died on January 17, 2005 at the Hadlow Center in Jacksonville, FL after a brief illness. He was 63 years old.

Born April 4, 1941 in Prince George’s County, Maryland to the late Blanche Goldsmith Buckler and James Buckler. Mr. Buckler retired as a mechanic with Giant Food. He lived most of his life in the tri-county area and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church at Laurel Grove and the United Methodist Men at Mt. Zion.

His loving wife Dorothy; daughters Sharon Barrows and Robin Tauer; brother George Buckler; sisters Agnes Hicks and Bertha Burch; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive him.

Family to receive friends on Thursday, January 20, 2005 from 6PM to 9PM at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road Charlotte Hall, MD. Funeral Services 11AM Friday, January 21, 2005 at Mount Zion United Methodist Church at Laurel Grove 21708 Mt. Zion Church Road Mechanicsville, MD 20659 with the Reverend Phil Ayers officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
