Janice Freeman, 64

Janice Freeman, 64, of Callaway, MD, died on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at CIVISTA Medical Center, LaPlata, MD.

Born on January 5, 1940 in Coburn, VA, she was the daughter of Melba Sexton Carter of Valley Lee, MD and the late William Henry Carter. Mrs. Freeman was a homemaker.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Vaselee Freeman of Callaway, MD, three sons, Leonard Freeman of Fuquay-Virinia, NC, Charles Freeman and Scott Freeman both of Callaway, MD, twelve siblings, Gene Stiffler, Nancy Norris of Lexington Park, MD, Lucy Hammett and Ray Carter of Valley Lee, MD, Doylus Carter of Richwood, WV, Bobby Carter of Leonardtown, MD, David Carter of Callaway, MD, Donnie Carter, Ronnie Carter, Roy Carter, Nelson Carter and Harvey Carter all of Valley Lee, MD.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 27, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Callaway Baptist Church in Callaway, MD. A Funeral Service will be conducted at the church at 10:00 a.m. The Pastor Daniel Moore will conduct the service. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens in Leonardtown, MD.

Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Freeman, Leonard Freeman, Scott Freeman, C. Freeman and Joshua Freeman. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jean Stiffler, Nancy Norris and Lucy Hammett.
