Joseph Harrison Schuhart, 84
Joseph Harrison Schuhart, 84, of Chaptico, MD died on Friday, August 20,
2004 at the St. Mary’s Nursing Center, Leonardtown, MD.
Born on February 3, 1920 in Chaptico, MD, he was the son of the late Harrison and Mary
Lena Morgan Schuhart.
A lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County, Mr. Schuhart was a member of the Our Lady
of the Wayside Catholic Church, Chaptico, MD.
He is survived by three sisters, Lottie L. Hasel of Chaptico, MD, Maude S. Hipsley of
Bushwood, MD and Lillian S. Maupai of Cockeysville, MD.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 from 2:00 until 4:00 at the
Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD. Prayers will be
recited at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 25,
2004 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, Chaptico, MD. The Reverend
John P. Stack will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery,
Bushwood, MD.
