Latest PG Murder Victim Identified

The Prince George’s County Police Department reports that they have  identified the victim from a Suitland homicide as 29-year old Benjamin Washington, of the 900 block of 49^th Street, NE, Washington, D.C. On December 18, 2004, at approximately 1:00 a.m., police responded to the 5300 block of Woodacres Drive in Suitland for the report of a body lying in the road.  When officers arrived, they discovered a male victim lying on the ground.  He was shot and pronounced dead on the scene.  His body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, Maryland for an autopsy.

There are no suspects and a motive has not yet been determined.
