Law Enforcement Recruitment Day at the Calvert Country Market

PRINCE FREDERICK ---  The vendors at the Calvert Country Market (CCM) in Prince Frederick welcome the community to join with local police forces in a Law Enforcement Recruitment Day on Saturday, May 20, from 10 am to 2 pm. The Calvert County Sheriff’s Department and the Maryland State Police will provide demonstrations on self-defense and the special K-9 unit will be on hand with some of Calvert County’s most beloved four-legged officers.

CCM vendors will have special sales and coupons in addition to cupcake decorating, ceramics workshops and a spring plant sale. CCM, located in the Prince Frederick Shopping Center, 98 S. Solomons Island Road, in Prince Frederick, Md., offers locally grown fresh produce, baked goods, handmade pasta and pies.  Additionally, the Market features seafood, a green grocer and butcher shop, yarn, baskets, ceramics, quilts, wood crafts, polymer clay supplies, an antiques shop, fine jewelry, candies, essential oils and a gourd shop.
