Lewis Matthew Morgan, III
Lewis “Louie” Matthew Morgan, III, 26, of Mechanicsville, MD died on September 30, 2004 in Southern Maryland Hospital. Born January 26, 1978 he was the son of Rosalie Katureh Morgan and Lewis Matthew Morgan, Jr. He is survived by his son Lewis Matthew Morgan, IV of Charlotte Hall, MD; sisters Cecelia Rosalie Morgan and Nina Caroline Raley and her husband Jeffrey all of Mechanicsville, MD. He is also survived by 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 46 1st cousins and 27 aunts and uncles. Mr. Morgan graduated from Chopticon High School in 1996 and has been a life long St. Mary’s County resident. He was employed by Capital Welding where he worked as a welder. His hobbies were drawing and doing tattoos. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 3 from 2 – 5 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home with prayers being said at 3 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 4 at 11 AM in Christ Episcopal Church in Chaptico, MD with Rev. Rona Harding officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Dennis Connelly, Luke Oliver, Adam Oliver, Danny Morgan, Duane Morgan and Robert Morgan, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Raley and Anthony Dickens. Arrangements provided by Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A.
