Man Had Baseball Bat Under Drivers Seat, Pot and Booze: all the required equipment of a St. Mary's County redneck
MECHANICSVILLE --- Maryland State Police in Leonardtown report that
on 10/5/04, at 7:59 p.m., Tpr. P. A. Trossbach investigated a suspicious
vehicle parked on All Faith Church Road in Mechanicsville. Upon contact
with the driver, Zachary Allen Gagnon, 18, of Mechanicsville, an open
container of alcohol was in plain view. A probable cause search
revealed suspected marijuana and a wooden bat under the driver's seat.
Mr. Gagnon was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana,
concealed deadly weapon and possession of alcoholic beverage by a person
under 21 years of age. Gagnon was transported to the St. Mary's
County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
