The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in Forestville, Maryland.

On September 15, 2004, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers responded to the 6500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to check out a vehicle that had been driven off the roadway. The vehicle apparently had been driven off Pennsylvania Avenue into the backyard of a house on Lacona Street. Inside the vehicle was an adult male victim who had been shot multiple times in the upper body.  The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. He has not yet been identified. There are no suspects and a motive has not yet been established.

Anyone with additional information about this case is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at (301) 772-4925 or Crime Solvers at (301) 735-1111.  A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.  The investigation is continuing.
