Maryland is being Buschcrapped!
Watch out folks, remember the old adage
about your wife, your dog and your wallet not being safe when the Maryland General
Assembly is in session. It is more true than ever. Speaker Michael Busch (D.
Anne Arundel) has proposed a one cent increase in the sales tax. That is a 20
percent hike in this one tax alone. The State of Maryland squanders about one half
of all tax revenue it takes in and now Busch has the audacity to ask for more. He
should stick his head in a toilet and flush it, all the while hoping the water source for
the toilet isn't located in DC.

Where is the efficiency and cost cutting of the Republican Governor? Gov. Bob
Ehrlich is the only one who can cut the budget and yet spending isn't on the decline and
slots money will be given to a bunch of fat cats. Why can't Maryland do any
better than this? What is wrong with the State going on a diet? If more
spending on education was the right answer, Maryland students should all be eligible for
scholarships to Harvard.
