St. Mary's Deputy Milton Pesante conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was
being operated by Meleana M. Kala for speeding. Upon contacting the driver, Deputy Pesante detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath.
She displayed outward signs of intoxication, according to Sgt. Daniel Alioto,
and failed the roadside test.
