Metro's lack of dedicated funding unique among major transit companies
A new Brookings Institution report says Metro's "extraordinary lack of dedicated funding sources" is unique and makes it vulnerable to recurring financial crises. The report recommends six potential dedicated revenue sources for government officials to consider.

Numerous Metrobus service changes coming Sunday, June 27, 2004
Starting June 27, Metrobus will make numerous schedule changes to eliminate overcrowding on some routes, shorten passenger waits between trips on others, and improve transfer connections between buses and trains.
