Michael V Falls, Sr.

Michael V. Falls, Sr., age 52, formerly of Norwood, Pennsylvania died December 7, 2004 at home. Born in Philadelphia, he was a graduate of John Bartram High School, class of 1970. He was an employee of NAVAIR for 27 years starting at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, then to the Naval Air Propulsion Center in Trenton, NJ and finally at Patuxent River Naval Base in Maryland.

He was a U S Army veteran having served with the 1st Infantry while stationed in Germany. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt and was also a longtime member of the Delaware County Field and Stream Association.

He is survived by two daughters, Alicia Falls of Media, PA and Jaimee Reiley of Alexandria, VA; two sons, Michael V. Falls, Jr. and Casey Falls, both of Aldan, PA; his mother, Lois Falls-Bartl of Media; one grandson, Blake Falls of Aldan, PA and his fiancé, Sandra Yeager of Wilmington, DE.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Saturday after 8:30 a.m. in the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Gabriel, Mohawk Avenue, Norwood, PA. Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA. Friends may call at Cavanagh’s on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
