Motorcyclist Killed by Teen Driver

DUNKIRK ---  According to the Maryland State Police at Prince Frederick, on Sunday June 18, 2006, at 10:15 PM, Maryland State Police Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on northbound Rt. 4, Brickhouse Road, Dunkirk, Calvert County, Maryland.

Initial investigation revealed that a 1991 Mercedes pulled from Brickhouse Road, across the northbound lanes of Rt. 4, into the path of a 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle that was traveling northbound on Rt. 4, in lane one.  The 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle went into a skid and collided with the left front side of the 1991 Mercedes.

The operator of the 1991 Mercedes, Nora Elizabeth Chambers, 18, of Owings, and her passenger, Bryan Anthony Wood, 18, of Dunkirk, were not injured.

The operator of the 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle, Charles Lee Dickerson, 41, of Owings, was flown by Maryland State Police Trooper 2 Helicopter to Prince George's County Shock Trauma where he was pronounced deceased.

TFC S.A. Johns and TPR A.R. Tillett, of the Prince Frederick Barrack, along with members from the Maryland State Police Crash Team, are continuing the investigation.
