Murdertasiaen to death

: UPDATE:  Detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations located Joseph Allen Stillwell (Age 29 of Annapolis, Maryland) and served (8) eight outstanding warrants on him. Stillwell was returned to St. Mary’s County and is being held without bond. The warrants included charges of Theft Scheme under $500.00, (4) Four separate counts of failure to appear, Driving while revoked, Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle as well as Theft under $100.00, Theft under $500.00 and Forgery and uttering false documents.
According to Lt. Daniel Alioto, the police have ruled out Stillwell as having anything to do with the murder of Phipps, but since he was wanted on many open warrants, he is being kept in jail on no bail.

CHARLOTTE HALL --- A brutal murder was committed sometime on Monday afternoon, says St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division Commander Lt. Daniel Alioto.

Just before 5 pm on Monday, a citizen entered the Hairtasia beauty salon located between the U. S. Post Office and Wood’s Paint Center in Charlotte Hall, not far from the Farmer’s Market, and found the body of the owner of the shop laying on the floor.

Bobby Phipps was beaten to death, report police, who have at least one suspect.

“This investigation is wide open, we are looking at everything,” Lt. Alioto told ST. MARY’S TODAY, while admitting that possible suspect Joey Stillwell is a suspect, but saying he is a “long shot”.
Police were initially under the impression that there could be a hostage situation and shut down access to the large commuter parking lot in the shopping center with the beauty shop and the dead body inside.

While the cops decided not to try to enter the building, they set up shop in the paint store next door and draped a sheet over the window to keep tv cameras outside from broadcasting their images in case a suspect who could still have been in the beauty shop from watching them over the shop’s television.

After more than two hours of attempting to find a live person inside the talk with, the police sent in a Swat Team who found only the victim dead inside on the floor.
