Neadurra Sissy Ellen Hall 69
Neadurra Sissy Ellen Hall 69, of Chaptico, formerly of Valley Lee, died August
31, 2004 in St. Marys Nursing Center. Born April 12, 1935 in Valley Lee, she was the
daughter of the late Helen Genevieve Redman Bean and Joseph Leo Bean. She was the loving
wife of Peter Paul Hall, Jr. whom she married in Sacred Heart Catholic Church on April 12,
1978. She was the devoted mother of Michael Nelson and his wife Donna of Valley Lee, MD,
Joseph Nelson, Sr. and his wife Tina of Clements, MD and Agnes Kay Mayor and her husband
Edward of Chaptico, MD. She is survived by her brothers Gregory Bean of Waldorf, MD,
George Bean, Andrew Bean, Robert Bean, John R. Bean and Francis Bean all of Valley Lee, MD
and sisters Leona Unkle and Evelyn Bean both of Leonardtown, MD, Joan Sebring of Valley
Lee, MD, Sister Rosalie Bean CSSJ of Widsor, Conn. and Gennie Williams of Tall Timbers, MD
and her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son
John Paul Hall, brothers William Bean, Bernie Bean, and David Bean and sister Lucy Bean.
Mrs. Hall was a life long St. Marys County resident. She was a Sales Clerk for Elmer
Halls Shoe Store where she worked for 15 years. Her hobbies included sewing,
quilting, arts and crafts and being an Avon Sales Representative. The family received
friends Thursday, September 2 in Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated today Friday, September 3 at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic
Church with Rev. Francis J. Early officiating and Father Joseph Sileo co-officiating.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mickey Nelson, Rickey
Nelson, Joe Nelson, Jr., Jason Bean, Kenny Sebring and Kevin Williams. Honorary
Pallbearers will be Kristie Mayor, Kristi Nelson, Kimberly Lacey, Mary Ellen Mayor,
Michelle Nelson and Lorrie Mayor. Contributions may be made to Seventh District Volunteer
Rescue Squad P.O. Box 7, Avenue, MD 20609.
