The plan for the new Wal Mart Super Center brought out a large crowd of supporters and a bus load of Machinist Union members who showed up to protest the approval of the site due to the fact that the Wal Mart employees do not belong to their union.   The Machinists and Aerospace Works Union operates a resort for their members at Placid Harbor on the Patuxent River.
