Nicholas Nabor Diaz

Nicholas Nabor Diaz, II, 78, of Hollywood, MD, died on Monday, January 17, 2005 at Bayside Care Center, Lexington Park, MD.

Born on April 18, 1926 in the state of California, he was the son of the late Nicholas Nabor Diaz and the late Mary Gonzales.

After moving to St. Mary’s County in 1979, Mr. Diaz started a restaurant business where he was the owner and operator. He also was the founder of the Southern Maryland Dart Association and the founder of the Tri-County Dart Association. Mr. Diaz was a family man too and especially enjoyed his large family.

He is survived by his wife Maria Diaz of Hollywood, MD and his children Cynthia Narvaez of Rodeo, CA; Paula M. Pace of Ashville, NC; Leslie Steinback of Lusby, MD; Karen Perrin of Jacksonville, FL; Robin King of Forest Landing, MD; Nicholas A. Diaz of Nagshead, NC; and Maria Tall of Lusby, MD. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all of his siblings and his son Nicholas Nabor Diaz, III.

The family will receive friends at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. 22955 Hollywood Rd., Leonardtown, MD on Sunday, January 23, 2005 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Rory Conley officiating. Interment will be private.
