North Beach Man Dies When Pickup Hit Tree

CHESAPEAKE BEACH --- On October 23rd, 2004 at 2:40 pm, Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Department responded to Md Rt 260 in the area of Limerick Lane, Chesapeake Beach, Md. for a serious auto crash. Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Chip Allen reports the preliminary investigation revealed a 1990 Toyota truck left the roadway for an unknown reason causing the vehicle to strike a guardrail and then a tree. The driver, Andrew Nomikos, of North Beach, Md. was pronounced dead at the scene. Dfc. R. Cress is investigating.
