Not Here, Knott, No Way, NO!

LEXINGTON PARK --- On 02/04/05 at approximately 2150 hours DFC Eric Walker and members of
the Sheriff's Office responded to Great Mills Road for a disturbance.
Upon arrival Gerald Anthony Knott 33, of Lexington Park was found to be
causing a disturbance at the residence of Joseph Young. He was told to
leave. After being escorted from the property he left. A short time
later all officers had to return. At that time Knott was discovered
inside of Young's apartment threatening Young.  DFC Walker's
investigation revealed that Knott had returned to the apartment and
forced his way inside. He was told to leave but refused to do so. At
that point he began threatening Young and others in the apartment.
Gerald Knott was subsequently arrested and charged with Burglary 1st
Degree, Assault 2nd Degree and Resisting arrest. He was incarcerated
pending a bond review.

MECHANICSVILLE --- On 02-05-05 Sheriff's Deputy Jason Maletto responded to Mechanicsville
for a report of a Motor Vehicle Theft. Deputy Maletto contacted the
Victim who advised the Suspect, a female juvenile, had taken the keys to
her vehicle without permission and drove the vehicle away from her home.
When the Juvenile Suspect returned home she struck another vehicle
parked in the driveway. The Suspect was arrested and charged with Motor
Vehicle Theft, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and two (2) counts of
Malicious Destruction of Property. Due to the juvenile Suspect's current
probationary status she was transported to a Juvenile Facility and is
currently awaiting a court date.
