Patron of Lusby Post Office Robbed at Gunpoint

LUSBY --- According to the State Police and Calvert Sheriff's detectives, on December 20, 2005, at approximately 05:25 am, DFC Carter with the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and road personnel from the Maryland State Police – Prince Frederick Barracks responded to an armed robbery.  The victim was exiting the Lusby Post Office located at 11575 Lusby Lane, Lusby, Calvert County, Maryland when a male subject wearing a ski mask approached him.

 

The suspect asked the victim to give him his money.  When the victim questioned the suspect, the suspect brandished a weapon.  The victim complied with the suspect’s orders.  Another patron of the Post Office pulled into the parking lot during the crime and the suspect subsequently fled from the scene on foot.  The suspect is described as a white male approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build wearing dark colored, baggy blue jeans; a dark colored long-sleeve shirt / hooded sweatshirt; and white tennis shoes.
