Paul Gilbert Morgan, Jr., 46, of Waldorf

Paul Gilbert Morgan, Jr., 46, of Waldorf died April 11, 2005 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Clinton. He was a Corporal on the Charles County Sheriff's Dept., a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, he was a former Baltimore City Police and State Trooper, transfered to Southern Maryland 18 years ago. Well know detective in Auto Theft unit and trained other departments. Member of International Asso. of Auto Theft investigators, received Governors citation for his work being inducted VP. member of HOG, Upper Marlboro Moose. Enjoyed coaching children's baseball team. Born July 29, 1958 in Baltimore he was the son of Paul G. Morgan, Sr. and Patricia Martin. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Dianna Lynn Morgan; son, Paul "Trae" Morgan; daughter, Gabrielle Rene Morgan; son, Adam Wood; brothers, Brian Morgan, Dana Morgan, Shawn Morgan; father-in-law, John Sansbury; deceased mother-in-law, Retha Sansbury; sisters-in-law, Christina Sansbury Sherri Sansbury, Theresa Morgan, and Tracy Morgan; brothers-in-law, Greg Sansbury, John Sansbury, III; mother-in-law, Shelley Sansbury. Visitation will be held April 14 form 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Prayers will be at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Marys Ave, La Plata, MD. Mass will be held Friday, April 15 at 10 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Mngsr. John Pennington, Rev. Karl Chimiak, and Rev. Sal Jordan, S.J. will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery, Chapel Point. Pallbearers will be Charles County Sheriff's Dept. Honor Guard, Brian Morgan, Dana Morgan, Shawn Morgan, Jr. Hennehan, Scott Weisbrod and Jesse Lopez. Honorary Pallbearers are Capt. William Brown. Lt. Tim Crawford, Lt. Mike McGuigan, Sgt. Ralph Nasatka, Sgt. Vinny Shoemaker and Sgt. Paul Gregory. Memorial contributions may be made to Charles County Youth League, P.O. Box 1543, White Plains, MD 20659. Arrangements are being handled by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata.
