Southern Maryland's Only 24-hour NewsroomPizza Delivery Driver Robbed by Gang of Punks
GREAT MILLS --- On 03-27-04 at 7:56 pm, St. Mary's County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Great Mills in reference to an armed robbery. Further investigation revealed a pizza delivery man was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money as he attempted delivery of a pizza in the Chancellor's Run Apartments complex. Six unidentified black males, all of whom appeared to be juveniles, surrounded the victim and demanded money. One juvenile male was wearing a mask, and the others had their faces concealed by bandanas. Two of the suspects were brandishing baseball bats. The victim gave the suspects the money, and the suspects fled. Deputy John Logalbo is the investigating officer. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact
