Gas Tampering

ABELL --- On 10/23/04, at 5:00 p.m., TFC M. A. Murphy responded to a residence on Willow Way in Abell for the reported destruction of property to a motor vehicle. The victim advised that unknown suspect(s) damaged her vehicle by pouring a substance into the gas tank of her vehicle. The damage is estimated at $1800. This investigation is continuing.

Stolen Tags at Hospital

LEONARDTOWN --- Between 11/01/04 at 4:00 p.m. and 11/2/04 at 8:00 a.m., unknown suspect(s) removed the rear Maryland registration plate "55P310" from a vehicle parked in the rear parking lot of St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown. Tpr. T. H. Quade is conducting this investigation.

Heathens Blasted out Windows in School

HOLLYWOOD --- On 11/1/04, at 8:30 a.m., TFC M. D. Mclean responded to the Hollywood Elementary School on Joy Chapel Road in Hollywood for the reported destruction of property. The investigation revealed between 10/29/04 at 5:00 p.m. and 11/1/04 at 6:00 a.m., unknown suspect(s) destroyed seven windows at the school using a BB gun. Total damage is estimated at $700. This investigation is continuing.

Christmas Shoplifting Season is Underway

PRINCE FREDERICK --- On 10-28, 5:12 PM, TFC Whipp responded to the Prince Frederick Wal-Mart for a shoplifting complaint. Investigation revealed that Bridget Nicole Wesberry, 19, of Lexington Park, and a 14-year-old female, of Lusby, were observed by a store employee leaving the premises without paying for merchandise. Ms. Wesberry was charged with theft (-$500) and incarcerated in the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing. The juvenile was charged with theft (-$500) and released to a parent.

Woman Charged with Not Paying

PRINCE FREDERICK --- On 10-30, 3:35 PM, Florence Lorretta Goldring, 54, of Lusby, was arrested and charged with theft (-$500) at the Prince Frederick Wal-Mart. Investigation by TPR Bowling revealed that Ms. Goldring was observed by a store employee leaving the premises without paying for merchandise. After processing, she was incarcerated in the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

Prepare to Repel Boarders

ST. LEONARD --- On 10-31, 10:17 AM, TFC Ferreira responded to the Flag Harbor Marina for an attempted theft complaint. Investigation revealed that an unknown culprit had boarded a boat and entered the cabin area.Property was moved about, but nothing has been reported stolen at this time.

Pot Makes Driving Go Faster in the Lame Lane

SUNDERLAND --- On 11-1, 12:57 PM, Rt. 4, Sunderland, TFC Ferreira stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed that the operator, Charles Wallace Seville, III, 35, of St. Leonard, had an open warrant through the Montgomery Co. PD, for failing to appear in court on a possession of marijuana charge. Incident to arrest, a CDS smoking device containing suspected marijuana was located in the vehicle. Mr. Seville was then charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was incarcerated in the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
