Police Say Local Bank Manager
Dipped into ATM's for Big Bucks!

Are you missing money from your
Community Bank of Tri-county account in past two years?
Police Say Man Hit Bank for Over $46,000
and it took the Bank 2 years to notice!
Run, don't walk, to this bank and close your account if this is the way they do business!

LEXINGTON PARK
(FORMERLY KNOWN AS SIN CITY) --- Take a look at your own bank account if you are a customer of Community Bank of Tri-County, as a local bank says their Lexington Park manager stole cash, on perhaps a daily basis, from ATM machine funds, over the past two years.
Toby Bush, the bank manager, might have dipped into your account too! Who would know? Certainly not the bank as it took the bank two years to find out Bush was allegedly bilking the bank of money, will they worry about your money?  Take a long, hard look!  Remember, its all about your money.
St. Mary's Sheriff's Detective Steve Hall, a member of the joint criminal investigation team of the Maryland State Police and the St. Mary's Sheriff's Dept. reports that on March 24, 2005, during a routine audit of Community Bank of Tri-County's Lexington Park branch ATM, the auditors discovered that the cash amount reported on the books of the bank did not agree with the physical inventory of cash in the ATM.
Police say that further investigation revealed that Branch Manager Bush, had allegedly been stealing cash from the ATM machine during the end-of-the-day reconciliation. The thefts could actually be much more, considering the police probe has only been conducted over a period of a few days.
Bank officials reported the theft to police but wanted to have the amount of the theft concealed, no wonder there!  How could anyone trust the bank with their money when the bank doesn't keep a good count?
Police say Bush was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of theft over $500. The full amount of the loss is still under investigation by the bank.
