Raymond Stanley Morgan, II “Raymie”, 37

Raymond Stanley Morgan, II “Raymie”, 37, of Bushwood, MD, died on August 11, 2004 in St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the son of the late Ann Virginia Joy Morgan and Raymond Sylvester Morgan, Sr. He was the loving husband of Tabitha Jean Morgan whom he married in Leonardtown, MD on May 12, 1989. He was the devoted father of sons Nicholas R. Morgan, A. Tyler Morgan and Raymond Morgan III and daughters, Veronica Webb, and Jackie Doak and one granddaughter Rebecca A. Webb. He is survived by his brothers and sisters Vicki Ann Anderson and her husband Eric of Lusby, MD, R. Tootsie Morgan, Jr. and his wife Terri of Avenue, MD, Donna Lynn Fanelli and her husband Mark of Abell, MD and M. Wayne Morgan and Jody Hayden of Abell, MD. Mr. Morgan was a life long St. Mary’s County resident. He attended Chopticon High School, and for the last 18 years has been working as a Master Carpenter for Knott’s Construction of Leonardtown. His hobbies were bow hunting, dirt track racing, working with his boss Ray Knott and spending quality time with his entire family. There will be Prayers on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 7 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5 – 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 14, 2004 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Francis J. Early officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Knott, Mark Fanelli, Randy Webb, Johnny Joy, Mike Lathrum and Ricky Wathen and Honorary Pallbearers will be Eric Anderson, Jr., Christopher Morgan, J.R. Hayden, Matthew Wilson and R.J. Morgan. Contributions may be made to the Nicholas & Austin Morgan Trust Fund; c/o First National Bank of St. Mary’s, P.O.
