Reading Online Edition Showed Working Late Was the Answer

To the Editor:

As a resident of Hollywood, I was unable to get home this afternoon from the Base due to the standoff at the trailer park.  We don't have TV or radio in the office, so it was only your website that let us know there was a problem.  Because of you, we had minute-to-minute updates on the standoff and the resulting traffic mess.  I was able to rearrange my schedule to stay in the office later, get some work done, and not have to waste an hour in traffic.
