Congressman Roy Dyson,  left, with President Ronald Reagan in the White House, was elected to Congress the same day Reagan was elected President, was one of 40 House Democrats who were part of the key bipartisan alliance which passed his programs.  Dyson was elected four more times before losing the seat in Congress in 1990.
