Robert Edward Dean

Robert Edward “Eddie” Dean of Avenue, Maryland died on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Maryland. He was 58 years old.

Born August 21, 1946 in Washington, DC to Edna Payne and William H. Dean, Sr. Formerly from Forestville, Maryland, Mr. Dean was formerly employed as a Maintenance Engineer at the World Bank Building in Washington, DC and as a waterman mainly harvesting crabs. He was a past member of the Forestville Elks, Moose and Fleet organizations. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Samuel Q. & Daisey E. Dean, John C. and Hattie L. Payne; brother Thomas N. Dean.

He is survived by his wife Aletha A. Harmel Dean; daughters Terri, Darlene and Dianna Lynn; brothers William H. Dean, Jr. and James M. Dean, Sr.; sisters Betty L. Palmer, Patricia D. Cooksey and Linda D. Wedding; sisters-in-law Dorothy Dean and Thelma Harmel; brothers-in-law Paul E. Palmer, James P. Cooksey and Henry Harmel, III; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Friends receive on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road Charlotte Hall, Maryland where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 10AM. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, Maryland.
