Temple Hills, MD – A Prince George’s County school bus crashed this morning in the 5200 block of Temple Hill Road just after 8:30 a.m.  The school bus left the roadway during the single vehicle crash and came to rest along a 35-foot embankment between the roadway and a creek.

Fire/EMS personnel transported thirty passengers on the school bus to an area hospital for evaluation.  No one on board the bus suffered any serious injury.  Students were transported by ambulance and bus to the hospital.

The students were on their way to Thurgood Marshall Middle School at the time of the crash.  Parents can contact Thurgood Marshall Middle School at 301-702-7540, for information on their child’s condition.

Residents on the scene indicate the curves in the roadway contribute to many motor vehicle crashes in the area.  Prince George’s County Police are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
