Shirley Deane Gerred, 69
Shirley Deane Gerred, 69 of California, MD died on August 26, 2004 at her residence.
Born on April 26, 1935 in Charlottesville, VA, she was born the only child of the late
Irving Wade and Mary Kendall Deane Mitchell.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Harry Gerred whom she married on November 27, 1953
in Lexington Park, MD, one son, Michael Stephen Gerred of Street, MD, three daughters,
Karen Gerred Sheridan of Jacksonville, FL, Michele Gerred Rice of Valley Lee, MD and
Katherine Gerred Warren of California, MD, six grandchildren, Kathleen Kendall Sheridan,
Patrick Michael Sheridan, Stephanie Leigh Warren, Connor Gerred Warren, Courtney Elizabeth
Rice and Cooper Christian Rice also survive.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 29, 2004 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at the
Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service
will be held on Monday, August 30, 2004 at 11:00 in the Brinsfield Funeral Home Chapel.
The Reverend Linda Spiers will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Church
Cemetery, Great Mills, MD.
