Suzanne Lee Combs Suzanne “Lee” Combs, 35, of Lexington Park, MD died on November 23, 2004 in Lexington Park, MD. Born June 22, 1969 in Leonardtown, MD, she was the daughter of Beth & Craig Jarboe, Mother & Step-Father and John & Susan Combs, Father & Step-Mother. She was the loving mother of Darren Michael and Audrey Rebecca of Lexington Park, MD and the late Timothy Joseph Combs. She is survived by her brothers Doug Combs of High View, WV, Alex Combs of Callaway, MD and Matthew Combs of Virginia Beach, VA and sisters Jennifer Brien of Dameron, MD and Katelynn Combs of Leonardtown, MD. She was a lifelong St. Mary’s County resident and graduate of Leonardtown High School Class of 1987 and Frostburg in 1991. She was employed as a teacher for the past two years at Carver Elementary School. Ms. Combs belonged to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Families for Christ. She enjoyed studying religion, reading and most of all being a mother. Prayers were said at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 26, 2004 in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where the family received friends from 5 – 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 27, 2004 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Dolan officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers for Ms. Combs were Joe Maloon, Scott Armsworthy, Kevin Leahy, Frank A. “Hank” Combs, III, Kevin R. Combs and Steven M. Combs.
