Boys Hand Over Cash, Shoes
WALDORF (June 13, 2005) -- Charles County Sheriff's officers report two 16-year-old boys were robbed at gunpoint on Post Office Road at about 1 a.m. June 11.
Police investigation revealed the boys were walking near the lake when two suspects confronted them, brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The victims complied and gave the attackers their money, cell phones and shoes. As the suspects fled the area, they reportedly fired a single shot into the air. The victims were not injured.
The suspects are described as black males between 16 and 18 years of age and were wearing dark clothing. The Charles County Sheriff's Office is seeking information at 301-932-7777. Officer Y. Austin is investigating.
