Teresa Elizabeth Smith
Teresa Elizabeth Smith, 73 of Leonardtown, MD died on Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.

Born on February 4, 1931 in Suitland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Bernard and Elizabeth Virginia Dingy Kenney.

Mrs. Smith moved to St. Mary’s County with her family in 1978 from Clinton, MD. She was a member of Our Lady’s Catholic Church, Medleys Neck and she was also a member of the Hollywood Moose Lodge Local # 2393.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Leroy Smith whom she married on July 23, 1949 in District Heights, MD, three daughters, Teresa Ann Palmer of Clinton, MD, Virginia Lee Trevethan of Leonardtown, MD and Cindy Kathleen Bogie and husband Charles Erich of Leonardtown, MD, two sisters, Virginia Marie Lacey of Compton, MD and Frances Naomi Stokes of Stevensville, MD, two brothers, Thomas Joseph Kenney and wife Josephine of Clinton, MD and Paul Anthony Kenney and wife Judy of Clinton, MD, seven grandchildren, Daryl Mark Palmer, Jr., Diane Leigh Sauder, Jennifer Ann Trevethan, Jessica Jean Jacobsen, Megan Ann Jacobsen, Nichole Marie Jacobsen and Erich Webster Bogie, four great grand children also survive.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. 22955 Hollywood, MD. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday November 10, 2004 at 11:00 am at Our Lady’s Church of Medleys Neck. The Reverend John Barry will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Smith will be Daryl Mark Palmer, Jr., Charles Erich Bogie, Frank Sauder, Scott Lacey, Joseph Thompson and Nicholas Western.
