LUSBY --- On 10-31, TPR Dawson responded to a residence on Bald Bluff Ct., Lusby, for a theft complaint. Investigation revealed that an unknown culprit had removed weightlifting and boxing equipment from the carport.

Man Not Allowed to Take Drugs to Jail

PRINCE FREDERICK --- On 11-5, 6:29 PM, TFC Bevard responded to an area off of Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick, for a suspicious vehicle complaint. After contact with the occupant of the vehicle, a computer check revealed that he was wanted through Montgomery Co. on a FTA/bench warrant for failing to perform a contract. Arrested at that time was John Williams Mohler, Jr., 37, of Prince Frederick. Incident to arrest, suspected cocaine, marijuana and CDS smoking devices were located in the vehicle. Mohler was then charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was incarcerated in the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing. Four Pack of Pot Heads

SOLOMON’S ISLAND --- On 11-6, 1:44 AM, TFC Keen observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of the Chesapeake Biological Lab, Solomons. Upon contact with the occupants, TFC Keen observed suspected marijuana in plain view. A search was conducted and additional suspected marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were located. Arrested at that time were Jennifer Lyne Rushe, 18, of Broomes Island, Justin Garrett McLean, 18, of Lusby, Archie Joseph Hall, 21, of Great Mills, and a 16-year-old female of Broomes Island. Ms. Rushe and the 16-year-old juvenile were charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. McLean and Hall were charged with possession of marijuana. After processing, the adults were incarcerated in the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing. The juvenile was released to a parent. TFC Keen was assisted at the scene by TPR Dawson.

Old Enough to be Jailed for Pot

DUNKIRK --- On 11-9, 12:13 AM, Rt. 4, Dunkirk, TFC Ferreira stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, Brandon Stephen Harbison, 20, of Dunkirk, TFC Ferreira detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and suspected marijuana was located in the vehicle. Harbison was placed under arrest at that time for possession of marijuana. After processing, he was incarcerated in the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

Kid Should Be Taken to Woodshed

LEONARDTOWN — November 3 at 1:39 p. m. a 12-year-old female student at the Alternative Learning Center in Leonardtown MD threatened to punch a teacher and disrupted classroom activities. St. Mary’s Dfc. Dung Ross arrested the juvenile and charged her with Assault 2nd Degree and Disruption of School Activities. The juvenile was released to a family member pending a hearing with Juvenile Justice.

They Were In Court?

LEONARDTOWN — November 3, 2004 at 2:09 p. m. Sheryl Christine Price, 39, of Lexington Park was arrested at the District Court Carter Building in Leonardtown for Failing to Appear in Court on the same day for an Assault charge. Francis D. Thomas, 40 of Clements, MD was also arrested at the District Court for failing to appear in court the same day. Dfc. David Corcoran arrested both and they were both released by the District Court Commissioner on Personal Bond.

Not a Lucky Day on Lucky Lane

HOLLYWOOD --- November 6 at 7:35 a. m. Dfc. James Molitor responded to investigate property destruction to a vehicle belonging to Michael Abell of Leonardtown, MD. The victim’s vehicle was parked in a driveway to the rear of a home on Lucky Lane in Hollywood, MD. A suspect broke the driver’s side window of the victim’s 2003 Ford Focus causing approximately $125.00 in damage. This investigation continues.
