Three Bears Burglar Found Asleep on Couch
LEXINGTON PARK --- Breaking in is so hard to do, at least
that may be what exhausted this guy so much. On 4/4/04 7:45 PM St. Mary's Sheriff's
Deputy Kirkner responded to Lexington Park for the report of a burglary, say police.
Investigation by Deputy Kirkner revealed Joseph Harrod had entered the residence
through a bedroom window and was found sleeping on the victims sofa. Harrod was
arrested, charged with Burglary, 4th Degree, and incarcerated in the Detention Center
pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
Crack Won't Make Kimble Nimble; Just Makes
Kirk a Jerk
LAUREL GROVE --- On 4/4/04 at 12:22 am, St. Mary's Sheriff's
Deputy Labanowski reports that he stopped a motor vehicle in the area of Laurel Grove
Road, Mechanicsville for suspicious activity. Upon Deputy Labanowski approaching the
vehicle he observed a passenger discard a small package on the floor of the vehicle.
Investigation revealed the package to be suspected Crack Cocaine. The suspect, Kirk
Andrew Spaulding, of Leonardtown, Maryland was placed under arrest and charged with
Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance - Not Marijuana and incarcerated in the
Detention Center.
Another occupant of the vehicle, James Mark Kimble, Mechanicsville, Maryland had an
outstanding Circuit Court Indictment for Possession of CDS - Not Marijuana and was
incarcerated in the Detention Center under No Bond. The operator of the vehicle was
issued several traffic
citations after it was revealed the Maryland Registration Tags displayed on the vehicle
were issued to another make of vehicle.
