Two Armed Men Robbed Bank in Waldorf

On Jan. 26 at 11:34 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to M&T Bank in the 80 block of High Street in Waldorf for the bank robbery report. Investigation revealed at least two men armed with guns entered the bank and demanded money from the employees. The employees complied and the suspect(s) fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. There were five employees and four customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery. No one was injured. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-2222. Det. C. Bean is investigating.
