Two Armed Men Stole Van in PG, Drive to Calvert & Rob Bank

DUNKIRK --- On 7/26/2006 at approximately 1030 hours the Calvert Investigative Team responded to the M&T Bank located at 10090 Southern Maryland Blvd., Dunkirk, Calvert County, Maryland in reference to an armed robbery. Through investigation it was learned that two armed African American suspects entered the building and ordered bank personnel to open the vault.  The suspects left the scene with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.  They made their escape in a stolen white van which was recovered a short distant from the bank in the Town Center Boulevard (Dunkirk) parking lot.  The van had been reported stolen from the Fort Washington area to the Prince George’s County Police Department.  Investigation continues….
