Victim of Homicide in Seat Pleasant Identified
 

The Prince George’s County Police Department has positively identified the second victim of a homicide that occurred in Seat Pleasant , Maryland.

            The female victim has been identified as 29-year-old Aminata Toure of Woodbridge, Virginia . On August 31, 2004, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Toure and 20-year-old Craig Victrahm Saint Jamada, of the 300 block of Eastern Avenue in N.E. Washington, D.C., were sitting on the front steps of an apartment building at 405 Eastern Avenue when the suspect approached, produced a handgun and shot them multiple times. Saint Jamada was pronounced dead on the scene.  Toure was transported to a nearby hospital where she died a short time later.

There are no suspects and a motive has not been established.  Investigators are looking into the possibility that the victims may have been targeted.  Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at (301) 772-4925.  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Solvers at 1-800-673-2777.  A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.  The investigation is continuing.
