Waldorf Man 13th Murder of the
 Month in Gorgeous Prince George's! 

 

          SUITLAND --- The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred in Suitland, Maryland.

On February 20, 2005, at approximately 1:40 p.m., police responded to the 3500 block of Silver Park Drive for the report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, an adult male victim was found lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.  A suspect had also been apprehended by a Metro Transit police officer, with the assistance of responding patrol units, as the suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot.  The victim was transported to Prince George’s Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The victim has been identified as 27-year old Robert Ellsworth Parran, Jr., of the 4500 block of Angushire Court in Waldorf, Maryland.  The suspect is a 19-year old male from Suitland, Maryland.  His name will be released once he has been charged in this case.  A motive has not been established, and the investigation is continuing.
