LEONARDTOWN --- Maryland State Fire Marshal Don Brenneman charged Lauren Kaye Vallandingham of falsely reporting her 2004 Subaru as having been stolen on March 9, 2004 and had allegedly set fire to the vehicle in a scheme to defraud her insurance company. The fire caused a total loss to the vehicle, with the damages set at $32,000. The burning vehicle was found on Fenwick Lane in Leonardtown.
