St. Mary's Sheriff Zylak Honors Deputy Julie Yingling
On June 21, 2004, the following officers were recognized as "Officers of the Quarter" and reflect great credit upon themselves and in keeping with the highest traditions of the Sheriffs Office.
Deputy Sheriff of the First Quarter of 2004: Deputy First Class Julie L. Yingling is recognized as the Deputy of the First Quarter of 2004 for consistently posting the highest statistics amongst the officers assigned to Squad 2. She manages her time effectively and gives equal attention to criminal enforcement, traffic enforcement, prevention efforts, follow-up investigations, and service of assigned summonses. While conducting investigations and handling calls, she consistently adheres to Sheriffs Office policy. DFC Yingling is extremely reliable, always punctual for work and court appearances, and seldom utilizes any unscheduled leave. She strives to better herself by frequently seeking training and has been assigned the collateral duty of Burglary Prevention Officer.
As a result of DFC Yinglings outstanding performance the first quarter of 2004, and her continuing dedication to improving herself and becoming a top-notch patrol officer, she is named Deputy of the Quarter for the First Quarter of 2004.
